[4-minute read + video walkthrough]
Happy Tuesday friends,
At the end of 2025, Aaron and I tried something new. 🙌
We sat down with a tool we're calling Intentional Life Buckets…a planning method we discovered from Jesse Itzler and tailored specifically for couples.
The life you want to live as a couple doesn't happen by winging it. It takes effort, consistency, and most importantly, it needs to be drawn out intentionally. Talk about it. Imagine what you want for your life as a couple, then design it year by year together.
Here's what we did to close out 2025:
We eliminated anything slowing us down:
Clothes and clutter around the house
Subscriptions that weren't moving the needle
Overflowing email inboxes
Mental clutter keeping us from focus
Then we sat down and mapped out what we want to accomplish this year across eight areas: spiritual, marriage, business, health, finance, adventure, friends, and personal development.
After completing this exercise, we had more clarity as a couple and a shared vision for what we wanted to accomplish together.
We put together a short video to show you exactly how we used this tool and what we learned. ⤵️
This tool is about designing your year together, not leaving it to chance.
How to use it:
Download the printable Intentional Life Buckets
Revisit it quarterly to stay on track
Once it becomes a habit, add monthly mini-adventures or quarterly getaways to keep you aligned
We want you to achieve your best life together, and that starts with a plan.
What's one thing you and your partner want to design together this year?
Hit reply and tell us. We read every response.
Designing with you,
💛 Jaylene + Aaron, Sync + Thrive Team
