Today marks twelve days into my 30-day challenge. Six hundred squats completed and on target to finish by June 13th. Since starting, I have noticed the strength in my legs increase, making the hills on our walks feel easy, and I have decided that next time I will be running up every one of them. I am not even halfway in, and the progress is already undeniable.
This is why small, intentional habits are vital, not just to my success or Aaron's, but to everything we are building at Sync & Thrive. The routines I create for myself do not exist in isolation. They reach outward and shape the environment around me.

The Bog Is Real
Building from the ground up has a lot of internal pressures.
There is the pressure of making mistakes, overthinking things to the point that you stall, the hard days when it feels like you are behind and not moving fast enough, and then the moments when the gap between where you are and where you want to be feels too wide.
If I leave these feelings unchecked, they can loop and spiral not just my productivity, but Aaron's too. One move we have committed to is movement first thing in the morning, something that will immediately change our state and set us up for the day.
On the days we do not incorporate movement, our day feels heavier.
We can each be a bit more reactive with each other, and our minds do not feel as sharp. Without a physical outlet, stress hormones linger, and an unoccupied mind finds its way to the rumination loop far more easily, replaying what is unfinished, what went wrong, and what might not work, before the day has even had a chance to begin.
