Welcome to Sync & Thrive, the bi-weekly newsletter for couples who believe a well-designed life starts with well-designed health habits. Every Friday, we share insights, and every Tuesday, we provide the reset to put them into practice. If this was forwarded to you, you can join us here.

We have started a bit of a quote collection on our fridge. Very select quotes make it here, and for good reason. The ones that have earned their spot have been fundamental to not just our personal growth, but the ethos of Sync & Thrive.

Aaron recently added this one, which I love.

"Mood follows action." — Rich Roll

fridge quotes we put into action

What makes this one special is that it's one of those sayings that stops being a quote and starts being a way of life. Because progress doesn't begin when you feel ready.

It begins the moment you move.

There have been many times we have waited for the right moment to do something, thinking that we had to feel a certain way, or that we had to be an expert before we could take the one step that mattered. But those perfect moments rarely come, if at all.

So we stopped waiting for them.

Your Biggest Performance Gap Is Sleeping Right Next to You.

You have optimized your routine, dialed in your nutrition, and shown up consistently even on the hard days. But if your partner is not moving with you, you are only working with half the equation.

We built the Sync & Thrive™ dashboard because we needed it and it did not exist. We weren't active together, had no shared routine, and were building a business while trying to stay healthy with no way to track our progress as a unit.

When we discovered the research on spousal concordance it was like a light went on. Your habits, your health outcomes, and your longevity are directly shaped by the person you share your life with. High performers optimize everything except this. We looked around and there was nothing on the market built for two. The wellness industry had been optimizing for the individual when the most powerful variable was the relationship itself.

So we built it. This is not a fitness app. It is your shared operating system.

Action helps us create what we are looking for

We have learned that the feeling we are searching for is never created from standing still.

It is created the moment we make our move. Every time we take action, we learn something about ourselves, what motivates us, what drives us, what scares us (but we feel compelled to do anyway), and what actually helps us move past whatever is holding us back.
